Big Machinery Weekend
We’re so excited to announce our first ever Big Machinery Weekend!
A fantastic event on May 25th & 26th, where you can explore a wide range of farm machinery, learn about their jobs on the farm, ask any questions and even get a picture in the driving seat!
Learn more about how various machinery is used in the growing and preparation of the delicious fresh fruit and veg that you can buy right here in our shop and café. We’ll also showcase how machinery in farming has changed, from Clydesdale ploughing to self-driving tractors – what will be next!
And if all of that isn’t enough to tempt you, we also have FREE barrel train rides, food stalls and themed ice cream from Little Parlour
The perfect Bank Holiday activity for future farmers, tractor enthusiasts and anyone looking for an exciting day of learning, fun, food and farming!
Tickets include entry to all outdoor areas of the farm, our farm shop and café.
Please note – a separate ticket is required for entry into Little Farmers Playbarn.

Lamb Feeding
Spring is here which means…it’s time for lamb feeding!
Each booking has a maximum of 4 people ( 5 items including the bottle) and it is one bottle of milk per booking as we have a limited amount for each session!
Dates: From 16th – 30th April (weekend and weekday)
Timings: 10am | 10:30am | 2PM | 2.30PM

Little Farmers Playbarn
Did you know your Little Farmers entry ticket lets you meet the animals at the Little Farmers animal shed AND check out thrilling animal shows – FOR FREE?!
Meet our friendly animals while asking our knowledgeable farmers anything about our furry friends while enjoying an animal-handling experience as part of your entry.
Our animal shows:
11am – Farm Talk | 1.30pm – Animal Handling | 3pm – Animal Handling
On Peak (weekends and school holidays) Mon – Sun | Off Peak (Mon – Tues): 11am & 1.30pm but no 3pm show & (Wed – Sun): all 3 shows
Cherry Blossom Picnics
Enjoy a delicious homemade picnic for you and the family in the beautiful surroundings of the cherry blossom trees which will be in full bloom!
Collect your picnics from the Farm shop and you will be met by a member of our team who will direct you to your table to enjoy a homemade delicious picnic.
After your picnic you will be free to wander around the farm and say hello to the animals you meet along the way!

Craigies Pony Pamper
Even our Shetland ponies love a pamper day…
Craigies pony pamper sessions include grooming and dress up followed by an assisted walk on the farm with our farmer!
This hands on experience is for our Little Farmers! You have to be 5+ years and accompanied by an adult. (We recommend ages 5 – 10) Experiences are available to book during school holidays!

Craigies Clydesdale Experience
An unforgettable experience!
Want a hands on experience with Wendy our Clydesdale horse? For the first time, we are offering you the chance to get up close
and personal with Wendy, our Clydesdale Horse.
Our hands on experience will include:
– Introduction with our farmer & Clydesdale Q&A
– Muck out Wendy’s pen
– Collect Wendy from her field and learn how to properly adjust her head collar
– Place Wendy into her pen & groom her! (brush her coat, detangling of the tail and pick her feet)
– Collect feed from the stables and feed Wendy
– Take Wendy for a walk around the farm before placing her back into her field (approx. 25 to 30 minutes)
While Wendy has a well deserved rest, you can head to our café for a hot drink and breakfast roll on us – you’ve earned it!
To commemorate your visit and your time with Wendy, you’ll receive your very own horse Teddy to take home with you* – a great way to remember your day.
Experiences begin in April, available to book now!

Little Farmers is one of the most exciting venues for children’s parties near Edinburgh. We have three party rooms to cater to both small and big kids parties, all looking out onto the farmyard and surrounding countryside.

If there is still time, why not take part in ‘Pick Your Own’ so you can take home the produce you learn about!
Farm Tours –
Enjoy a tractor trailer ride around the farm or a private animal experience in Little Farmers animal shed, making your farm visit the best it can be!
We also offer a guided walking tour around the farm which can be tailored to your classes current topics.
Jam Classes – Come and learn how to make Craigies freezer jam!
You will start the session with a walk into the field to pick your berries before heading back to Little Farmers to make some yummy jam.

Unique Venue Hire
Fancy a unique location for your next business meeting, small event, or birthday party? Well, Craigies Farm is the perfect place for you with beautiful views and animals in surrounding fields.
Our Snug is newly renovated and is kitted out with a tv located behind two wooden doors, which can be connected to laptops etc. The layout of the room can be changed to suit the needs of your booking. If you desire catering for your event, this can be arranged during the booking process.
The hiring costs:
£150 for 4 hours (half day)
£250 for 8 hours (full day)
